What is the heal your pelvis-Differently (HYP-D) Method?

The pelvis and sexual organs are extremely unique areas of our body, not only physiologically or anatomically, but emotionally. These areas are loaded with emotions, traumatic experiences, shame, and expectations.

It is well known  that “the body keeps the score (Bessel A. Van Kolk),  and the pelvis does so.

Our pelvis, mind, emotions and overall wellbeing are strongly connected. We cannot heal or fix any of them without treating all of them. If we treat our body, mind and emotions at the same time, healing can be faster and longer lasting.

What is HYP-D Method?

The HYPD-Method is a 15 hours intensive, integrative, in person pelvic health and pelvic floor exercises training that approaches the pelvic health differently.

Pelvis

Evidence based and ancient internal and external, uniquely designed pelvic floor exercises for the sensation, control, strength, endurance, and relaxation of the pelvic floor and for the healing of the sexual organs. You will learn how to do Kegel properly, but we go so much beyond Kegel. Furthermore, you will learn how to read the physical symptoms of your pelvis.

Mind

Elements and methods from psychology/psychotherapy and sex therapy to rewire your negative core beliefs that might block the healing of the pelvic related symptoms. Core beliefs that ” I am not good enough”, ” I am a failure”, “Nobody loves me”, I do not deserve…” can negatively impact on the health of your pelvis. The HYP-D method integrates elements from Positive and Somatic Psychology, Mindfulness Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Story Telling, Guided Drawing, Energy Healing and Sex Therapy.

Emotions

We work with stress, shame, fears, anxiety, guilt, negative life experience, trauma, abuse, neglect that might be boundaries in your healing journey and impact on the physiology of your pelvis. We work on self-love, self-esteem, and self-awareness with elements from psychology/psychotherapy and sex therapy.

How the journey started?

A proctologist doctor told me in 2015 in Toronto that I would need a surgery in two years, and there is nothing I can do for myself to prevent surgery. I was diagnosed with rectocele, and organ prolapse and lived with many symptoms.

In 2024 I am still living surgery free and my condition down there, is better than ever before. I am completely symptom free. How?

I use the heal your pelvis-Differently-The Trauma Informed Pelvic Care Method (HYP-D Method) daily. It takes 8-15 minutes day per day.
